About Devin Kowl
Born and raised in the Washington, D.C., area, Devin Kowl is a Pop/R&B singer with an authentic voice and sincere message. Devin’s fresh vocal talents and strong stage presence are taking the music industry by storm. His debut single “All Gone” is a reaction to peer pressures and other things that often hold teens back from living their dreams.
Devin started his musical journey in the sixth grade chorus at Mattaponi Elementary School in Maryland. His teacher, Mrs. Lawson, was so impressed with his singing ability that she selected Devin to sing a solo at his elementary graduation. The audience was immediately taken with the young singer’s precocious talent, and he even received a standing ovation. From that point, Devin’s life dramatically changed, and he started to take steps towards his dream of a career in the music industry.
Devin went on to refine his raw talent with vocal and musical training from the Oxendine Music and Drama Academy. In 2009, he performed at the National Day of Prayer in Washington, D.C., and he performed at and participated in the Washington, D.C., Walk for the Lupus Foundation of America . That performance was especially personal because Devin’s aunt Anya Gaskins-Pearson passed from Lupus at the young of age of 27.
